I’m based in Minneapolis, MN, but available for worldwide travel! As your wedding photographer, I will also be your right-hand gal - grabbing you water, wiping your tears, keeping you on schedule, taking deep breaths with you, + most of all capturing your wedding day. I celebrate authentic love and I'm wild about those who love each other passionately. Allow me to be the narrator of your wedding day + to deliver timeless images that you can look back on in the years to come!

THE PROCESS
First things first. You gotta stop by + say hello! Send me an email so we can chat on the phone or meet up for coffee. We'll answer all the questions you have + make a general timeline for your wedding day. After that, I'll check in with you later that week with any follow-up questions. When you're ready, we'll go ahead with a booking proposal that you two can look over. If you decide to book then we'll move forward with your engagement session so you can send out those save the dates!
From there, I'm available for any questions that arise, whether it's photography related or not. Trust me, you will have to make more decisions than you can count so I'm happy to be of assistance when needed!
And last but not least, we'll dance your wedding day away!
ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
This is just the beginning of me third wheeling
Engagement sessions are crucial to my relationship with you. This is where we go from photographer + clients to friends. By including engagement sessions in my wedding collections this allows me to work with you as a couple before your wedding day. It allows you to become comfortable with me so that I don't show up on your wedding day as a stranger trying to boss people around. But rather, you know what to expect when we take your portraits and in turn, you both are more comfortable, the photos go by quickly, + you are able to truly enjoy your time.
My heart behind photography is to spark joy. We've all seen photos where you can feel the awkwardness. You know what I'm talking about - tight shoulders, stiff arms, + clenched teeth. Nobody wants to look like that on their wedding day! My approach to posing is to keep things simple + natural. I prefer to set my clients in a pose and then give verbal prompts (whisper a joke into her ear, stroke her arm, have a tickle fight, etc.) to create genuine emotion rather than robotic + stiff posing. This way, you're free to move around + interact with each other which ultimately creates movement + genuine reactions. Trust me, those are the photos you want.
